For the best screen printing positives, install a FastINK/POSink DYE cartridge in Slot 5 and the EPSON UltraChrome Light Black ink cartridge (T543700 or T544700) in Slot 1.

Do not install a black UltraChrome Pigment in your EPSON 4000 Slot 5. When the printer starts for the first time it will write the cartridge information to the firmware and it requires an EPSON techncian and many purge cleaning cycles and wasted ink to clean the tube system of UltraChrome. FastINK/POSink Black DYE Cartridges WILL work in UltraChrome printers - EPSON black DYE cartridges will not.
