Multi-Choice Super Opaque Colors
Multi-Choice Opaque is a plastisol ink designed specifically for
high opacity and bleed-resistant applications. Ideal for printing 50/50 blends
and other difficult fabrics. In fact, if you want just one ink to do everything,
Multi-Choice Opaque is the choice. For example, with the addition of MSB-100 Clear/Soft-Hand
Extender, Multi-Choice Opaque can achieve a “soft-hand” feel without
affecting the cure time! You also can add our Puff Concentrate and have a true
“puff ink” with the added advantage of being able to control the amount
of puff desired. We even have an Athletic Additive that increases adhesion without
a two-part catalyst) and abrasion-resistance. For nylon jacket printing, the addition
of a jacket catalyst will turn Multi-Choice Opaque into a two-part ink that really
sticks.

Features and Tips
Finish: Semi-gloss.
Opacity:
Excellent.
Mileage: Excellent.
Approximately 450 to 1650 sq. ft. per gallon, depending on ink deposit and screen
mesh.
Drying: 300°
F - 330° F for 2-3 minutes for direct printing; 220° F - 240° F for
30-60 seconds for transfers.
Fabrics: All
types. For maximum coverage on dark garments, use 61 to 110 monofilament.
Stencils:
All types of direct and capillary film systems. For hand-cut stencils,
use water-soluble films.
Wash-up:
Use Thinner DT or any conventional plastisol wash-up system.
Reducers/Thickeners: Reducer/Thinner DT will reduce tackiness and viscosity. It also will reduce “ink
hang” in the screen while maintaining opacity. Use 1% - 3% by weight. Reducer/Thinner
PL will increase gloss and film elongation. It also will improve “ink flow.”
However, it cuts opacity and slightly increases the dry/cure time. Use 1% - 5%
by weight. Use with caution. Thickener Paste will stir in easily and will slightly
increase the viscosity of the ink. It also will slightly increase dry/cure time.
Use 1% - 5% by weight. Thickener Powder also will increase the viscosity but will
not affect the dry/cure time. However, it must be stirred in with a drill mixer.
Use up to 1% by weight.
Storage: Store in a relatively cool area. Keep away from extreme heat and direct sun penetration.
Store below 95°F.
Stir plastisols prior to each use. Do not dry clean
or use bleach.
Always pretest before use to establish suitability and procedures
prior to production.
